The sheer scale of the automotive sector dictates that applications for FB AVAK’S vacuum forming services are varied and wide ranging. These include bespoke OEM components for commercial vehicles recreational vehicles and conversions such as minibuses as well as those adapted for disabled access.

Larger Scale projects

We have experience in working with clients to produce complete interior substrate sets. These have included upper and lower dash mouldings door cards, centre consoles, and complete headliners.

The size of parts can be varied, and depending upon the application material choice can also be a crucial factor.  At FB-AVAK we have a comprehensive knowledge of materials and can advise which are suitable for which application, whether it’s a hidden or trimmed internal part, or an external moulding such as trim or functional wheel arch.

Low volume and legacy parts

Legacy parts with no data or drawings can be reverse engineered by 3d scanning an original part, whilst our in-house toolmaking capability allows us to produce soft tooling suitable for short run applications, enabling the production of OEM-looking component at a budget cost.
